THE LINK NETWORK PLATFORM
Your platform will be split into two sub-platforms.
- Frontend – which is the marketplace/webshop.
- Backend – which is the administration module.
The administration module holds different sections that will allow you to digitalize your full business from product and supplier creation to order receipt, production process, delivery, and invoicing.
You will experience a more intelligent way to drive your online B2B business. You will be able to reduce or eliminate the need for your own warehouse, and you will be able to offer more competitive prices and build a loyal customer portfolio due to the unique crowd procurement tool.
Click on each section in the wheel or scroll down and read more about the LINK Network Platform.
Crowd Procurement
Create products on your crowd procurement marketplace by entering supplier and product information, production time, prices at different volumes, and your profit rates.
Let your customers buy products directly from your suppliers through your LINK Network webshop and watch the prices drop online when more customers join the same order.
You offer product prices based on total order volume, and prices drop when the volume increases.
If you have created child shops the orders can even be joined across all your child shops and your marketplace.
All clients buy at the same low price, no matter if they were the first or last one to place the order.
LINK Network automatically sends a notification to all users when the price drops.
The system keeps track of the production time vs. lead time, and the order will disappear from the marketplace when the production start date is reached.
Customer and supplier names are ofcourse not shown on the marketplace (only in your administration system).
Build child webshops
When you have set up your crowd procurement marketplace, you will easily be able to create child shop environments of your marketplace. A child shop is a copy of your marketplace but customized for a specific group of users. It could be for a specific customer or maybe a specific branch.
A child shop usually has a smaller number of products than you do on your marketplace. You can easily drag & drop products and categories from your marketplace to any of your child shops. The products can even be customized on each child webshop.
The administration system offers you a wide variety of design possibilities and functionality settings that can be chosen for each child shop.
Orders on “Product on Demand” products can be joined between all your child shops and your main marketplace to reach even larger total quantities.
Order and production management
In the LINK Network administration system, you have a detailed overview of all incoming orders. The system will automatically group orders of the same supplier’s product and with the same production start date into one production line.
The order status bar will allow you to handle all orders in a production line simultaneously with only a few clicks.
As customers can see the status bar in the webshop menu, they are able to follow the orders all the way from production start to delivery at their door.
Supplier Administration
Create your suppliers in the administration system and link them to the products they supply on the webshop. You will always have a quick and fast overview of the supplier’s product range and product details.
Logistics and transportation
Create your own transportation routes and prices or import prices from your favorite shipping company.
As LINK Network is already interfaced to UPS and DHL, you will also be able to set up your webshop to use transportation prices based on your company account.
System interface
We can help you, to build an interface between your LINK Network platform and e.g. your ERP system, transportation company, warehouse, supplier, or any other service provider.
Warehouse module
You are able to create as many logistic vendors as you desire, and you can add as many warehouse locations as you find necessary.
When you create internal stock products (ISP), you can add warehouse location to the product. This enables users to order your stock products from the nearest warehouse, saving transportation costs and CO2 emissions.
The warehouse module allows you to show the current stock balance and incoming stock shipments. Furthermore, you can set stock alarms, so you are notified about low-stock products.
Finally, you can allow customers to start a new production of your stock products if the stock balance is lower than the customers requested quantity.
Product on Demand
Product on demand is the opposite of product on stock. Product on demand is products that are created on your platform with production information and linked to the supplier. The system will know production time, quantity-based price range, and supplier location. When orders are placed on a ”Product on Demand” item, the price will drop according to the total quantity and the supplier’s price list. Transportation prices will be calculated based on the supplier’s address and the user’s delivery address.
The advantages of selling products on demand instead of products on stock are many, but below are some of the most obvious:
- Reducing capital allocation and risk due to less stock
- Better and more competitive pricing due to larger quantity
- Increasing the online product collection due to no cost on Product on Demand before they are sold
- Less transportation cost due to direct shipping from factory to each user/market
- Environmental gain due to, less CO2 emission on direct shipments, less material waste on larger productions
- Lower minimum order quantity as more users/markets share the order quantity.
